1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

When you register for Jobsinc we collect your name, email address, and password (stored hashed). If you subscribe to a paid plan we collect billing information via our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

1.2 LinkedIn session data (browser extension)

The Jobsinc LinkedIn Connect extension reads the LinkedIn session cookies stored in your browser — specifically the li_at session token and related cookies — after you have logged into LinkedIn in that browser. The extension also captures the email address associated with the LinkedIn account you sign in with.

This data is transmitted over HTTPS to Jobsinc servers and stored temporarily (up to 7 days) to maintain an active LinkedIn session for outreach automation on your behalf. No LinkedIn credentials (username or password) are ever collected or stored.

1.3 Usage data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell or share these logs with third parties for advertising purposes.

1.4 Outreach activity

When you run LinkedIn outreach campaigns through Jobsinc we store the messages sent, lead lists, campaign settings, and responses received so that you can view analytics and manage conversations.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your Jobsinc account and maintain your session.
• To operate LinkedIn outreach campaigns on your behalf using the LinkedIn session you provide through the browser extension.
• To send you transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts).
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve the reliability and performance of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models sold to third parties.

3. Chrome Extension — Permissions Disclosure

The Jobsinc LinkedIn Connect extension requests the following permissions, each limited to its stated purpose:

The extension communicates exclusively with jobsinc.ai and linkedin.com. It does not read browsing history, inject ads, or communicate with any other domain.

4. Data Retention

• LinkedIn session cookies are stored for up to 7 days or until you disable the account, whichever comes first.
• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6).
• Outreach campaign data (messages, leads, analytics) is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion unless you request earlier removal.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:

• Service providers: We use Stripe for billing, AWS/DigitalOcean for hosting, and Redis for session caching. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: You can view your LinkedIn accounts and campaign data from the Jobsinc dashboard at any time.
• Deletion of LinkedIn session: Click “Disable” on any account in the LinkedIn Accounts page. This immediately stops all automation and deletes the stored session cookies.
• Account deletion: Email us at privacy@jobsinc.ai to request full account deletion. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Portability: You can request a copy of your data by emailing the address above.
• GDPR / CCPA: If you are located in the EU/EEA or California you have additional rights including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

LinkedIn session data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We conduct periodic security reviews and promptly address vulnerabilities. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or by a prominent notice in the Jobsinc dashboard. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
